Brand new to Churchfields – a wild camping experience in the great outdoors (but the cows are in the next field!)
We are delighted to announce camping weekends for this summer on our farm here in Worcestershire. The field you will camp in is known to us as Cookshill Bank and whilst cows will not be in the actual field with you they will be in the field next door (so you are almost camping with cows!). Cookshill Bank is nestled in The Salwarpe Valley and from its sunny position views are enjoyed down the valley over the rolling wooded countryside back across to the farm.
Your camping adventure starts on Saturday morning and the field gate will be open for you from 8am. All pitches are pre-booked and are limited in number to keep the experience exclusive and to also allow plenty of space between families.
On Saturday and Sunday daytimes you and your family will be able to have unlimited access to our Adventure Farm that opens for the first time this year. You will be able to meander on our famous Fairy Trail and get lost in our Maize Maze.
Saturday evening includes an evening meal up at the Cowshed where you will be able to enjoy our Stonebaked Pizzas featuring some of our homegrown ingredients followed by toasting marshmallows on the firepit. This will give a real ‘field to fork’ experience for you and your family. The fully licensed bar will be available where you will be able to purchase local gins together with local craft beers and ciders.
You can enjoy your food and drink whilst watching the sun go down and your children have exclusive use of the Adventure Barn.
On Sunday morning the cows in the nearby field will be collected for milking. If you are up in time you will be able to watch them stroll in when they are herded up to be milked. Hearty Breakfast Baps and other family breakfast favourites await you in Cow Shed Kitchen on Sunday morning to help you energise for the rest of the day.
The pizza night and breakfast are included within your camping pitch price.
You are welcome to stay all day Sunday making use of all we have to offer from the day before. The only thing we would ask is for you to leave without a trace by 5pm when we close the field gate.
Important stuff for grown-ups
