Torchlight Scary Fairy Trail 2021

Scary Fairy IS BACK – a Spooktacular experience in the great outdoors!

After an incredible year last year, we’re back on 29th & 30th October – bigger and better than ever!
Live actors bring the creepy torchlit trail to life. Watch out for the hidden troll under the bridge as you enter the spooky woodland walk. Use your torches to guide you from start to finish without getting lost.

Along the way, you will need to follow the clues, answer a question and finally decipher the hidden message.

Please note torches are not provided so you will need to bring torches for all adults and children. The trail is dimly lit in some places but in others you will be in complete darkness.

Please wear suitable footwear as the uneven ground and woodland walks can be very muddy at this time of the year.

Unfortunately the trail is unsuitable for wheelchairs & pushchairs.

After completing the trail, treat yourself to an ice cream, sorbet or luxury hot chocolate as you cosy up next to the fire – fire pits and blankets available!

The estimated time for the full Scary Fairy Trail is 45 minutes to 1 hour.

  1. On arrival, you’ll receive a booklet and map. Follow the directions and map around the grounds of Churchfields to discover the clues.
  2. Information panels can be found throughout the grounds attached to blue metal posts. Each information panel contains information about the fairies and trolls.
  3. Match up each marker with the clue found on in the booklet, answer the question then enter it on the back page.

Tickets from £5. Under 1s FREE.
