Torchlit Scary Fairy Trail 2020

Brand new to Churchfields – a Spooktacular experience in the great outdoors!

This October grab your torch, put on your wellies and fairy wings to explore our Torchlit Scary Fairy Trail!

The wicked witches have stolen the fairies secret spell and hidden it all over the beautifully illuminated fairy trail and we need you and your friends to help the fairies find their missing spell.

Along the way, you will need to locate the information panels at various points, answer a question and then finally decipher the answer for a chance to win a great prize. You may even meet a few spooky characters too!

Please wear suitable footwear as the uneven ground and woodland walks can be very muddy at this time of the year.

Unfortunately the trail is unsuitable for wheelchairs & pushchairs.

Before or after completing the trail, you can treat yourself to dinner in the new Cowshed Restaurant followed by an ice cream or sorbet, made right here on the farm – booking advised.

The estimated time for full Fairy Trail is 45 mins.

Please note that all bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  1. On arrival, you’ll receive a booklet and map. Follow the directions and map around the grounds of Churchfields to discover the clues.
  2. Information panels can be found throughout the grounds attached to blue metal posts. Each information panel contains information about the fairies and trolls.
  3. Match up each marker with the clue found on its page within the booklet, answer the question then enter your correct answer on the back page.
