Lambing Live is back at Churchfields Farm and we just know ‘EWE’ are going to have a Baaa-rilliant day at our Farming and Lambing Live Festival this February half term.

Your day out includes our Fun Farm where you will see the friendly animals which include; donkeys, pigs, cows, goats and of course our pregnant sheep! Plus enjoy crafts and unlimited play on the adventure playground, go-karts, fairy trail, pedal tractors & air bouncers (weather permitting)!

In our UNDERCOVER maternity barn, you will see our pregnant sheep and their newborn lambs and will have a strong chance of witnessing a live birth! We’re expecting around 40 new arrivals during half term so it’s going to be pretty busy! Learn about lambing too from our team who are watching over the maternity barn 24/7.

Choose your arrival time and then stay as long as you like until we close at 5 pm

Please note:

  • The animal areas are open 11am – 4pm
  • Dogs are not allowed in the animal areas

Pregnancy and lambing: Please note it is not recommended that pregnant women visit lambing, as there is a small risk of miscarriage. Pregnant women who come into close contact with sheep during lambing may risk their own health and that of their unborn child, from infections that can occur in some ewes. These include chlamydiosis (enzootic abortion of ewes – EAE), toxoplasmosis and listeriosis, although the number of reports of these infections and human miscarriages resulting from contact with sheep are extremely small, it is important that pregnant women are aware of the potential risks. If you do visit, we recommend not visiting the lambing area.

Tickets are limited – so book yours today.

Important stuff for grown-ups

Working together for a safe and relaxing visit to Churchfields

1. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a full paying adult at all times. Churchfields is a working farm with livestock in adjoining fields.
2. You must stay on the trail and dogs are welcome but must be on a lead at all times. Please scoop any poop.
3. The ground is uneven and there are cowpats. Brambles, stinging nettles, tree roots, fallen branches and twigs are encountered on the trail.
4. The fields have cattle water troughs and barbed wire fences. There is a stream and pond in the woods.
5. Events are completed at your own risk. Ensure you have the proper footwear and adequate clothing before starting out. Check the weather forecast. The trails may be unsuitable for wheel chairs and push chairs (all terrain pushchairs at your own risk).
6. Remember that you are responsible for the safety of yourself and others in your group while on the trail.
7. Don’t forget to respect the privacy and property of others. Follow the Government’s guidance on staying safe outside your home. We advise bringing your own hand sanitiser.
8. Do not allow your children to go ahead and separate from the group.
9. Before you begin, agree on an emergency rendezvous point should someone become separated from your group.
10. In the event of an accident while on the trail, do not attempt to move the casualty, please call the emergency services on 999, giving your location: Churchfields Farm, Salwarpe, Nr Droitwich, WR9 OAF.
