Pregnancy and lambs:  Please note it is not recommended that pregnant women visit lamb areas, as there is a small risk of miscarriage. Pregnant women who come into close contact with young lambs may risk their own health and that of their unborn child, from infections that can occur in some ewes. These include chlamydiosis (enzootic abortion of ewes – EAE), toxoplasmosis and listeriosis, although the number of reports of these infections and human miscarriages resulting from contact with sheep are extremely small, it is important that pregnant women are aware of the potential risks. If you do visit, we recommend not visiting the lambing area.

Tickets are limited – so book yours today.
