We’ve worked hard to make Churchfields as accessible as possible for everyone. However, as a working farm deep in the Salwarpe Valley, there are some areas that aren’t wheelchair accessible.
Best time to visit:
If your family prefer a quieter visit, our fun farm and seasonal events are usually quieter in the afternoon from 2pm onwards.
Our Car Park:
We have a large free stoned/gravel car park including spaces for coaches within easy reach of our entrance. Disabled parking is situated close to the main entrance. Please note that availability of all parking spaces is subject to capacity, and we recommend arriving early to secure a spot
Cow Shed Cafe & Fun Farm Check In:
A short walk from the car park will lead you down a block paved pathway to The Cow Shed Cafe and Fun Farm Entrance.
These are ground floor level and have no need for ramps but a small lip to enter through the doorway.
As you enter our cafe and check in you will see signage for our disabled toilet with baby change.
Our cafe is all ground floor and has a mixture of tables and chairs with adjustable height and armed/armless chairs. Please feel welcome to change chairs as you feel comfortable.
Once your checked in access to the Fun Farm is down a purpose built concrete ramp.
Our Fun Farm:
Surrounding the Adventure Play/Air Bouncer area is a concrete base with some mild incline & decline areas.
Our animal paddocks/zip line/fairy trail areas are located in natural areas in the heart of the valley and are accessed via a gravel path down a VERY steep hill and then up another hill. We advise that you self assess the area before your visit, or ask for a member of staff to assess with you.
We have added some photos at the bottom of this page to help.
Registered assistance dogs are more than welcome on the farm.
Makaton Signage is currently being added to our animal paddock so everyone can enjoy our animlas just as much as we do.
