I think they really made it. Even just in the little ice-cream kiosk by the maize was a really lovely friendly boy. There isn't loads and loads to do which can be quite overwhelming but there is enough to entertain the kids. The sandpits were a hit with my two. The maize was great fun and the icecream was delicious. I do wish there was more places to sit down and have a picnic as I think sometimes that's easier with kids. Unless we were missing somewhere. We really did have a lovely day, kids thought it was great fun and staff were fantastic. read less
Lovely little place. Great afternoon tea. Coped well with a large group 🙂
Went primarily for the maize maze which was really good. Good selection of food and ice cream, no animals were out

The Tuna and Mozzarella Melt Panini was first class and I was delighted that the small salad accompanying it was not the usual tired few pieces of lettuce and tomato which other places serve, but fresh, full of vitality and with a tasty dressing. The coleslaw was clearly home made, crunchy and fresh and tasted divine. read less

Arrived at opening time (midweek). Place is spacious with outdoor and indoor seating. No signage etc, so it wasn't clear where things were to do (confusing for first time visitors) that animals weren’t on show/ paddock animals were the only ones; which we saw a few people come and go because of this. We sat in the soft play bsrn that had a small area of soft toys and music on (my 2.5 yr old was well away.)The soft play however was pretty dirty, with sand & even food pieces on which disappointed us; especially since we were the first ones in that day.Food was lovely. Portions are not generous, but meat is good quality. My husband had a breakfast and i had a sausage butty. 1&1/2 sausages in the butty? Wheres the other half gone? Breakfast would also benefit from a piece of toast with it. My dad had a milkshake which was awesome. Ice cream was also beautiful! We did stay in the play area for a couple of hours (mainly because we had it to ourselves and my little girl was happy playing) but if we were looking for a day out we would have gone elsewhere 🙁 Toilets spotless. read less
