Lamb Bottle Feeding Information

  • Following feedback from our February Lamb bottle feeding event we have now added lamb bottle feeding to be subject to pre booking only, this gives the children a better quality experience and will reduce wait times.
  • 1 adult to supervise and assist per child, no additional adults will be permitted, adults are welcome to take photos but please be careful with surrounding children in the feeding area.
  • Bottle feeding & entry must be booked together on the same date.
  • This experience is aimed for children 3 and above, younger children may take part but they will need 2 hands and a good grip on the bottle.
  • You will need a ticket for each child wanting to take part in the bottle feeding experience.
  • Our lambs have a strict feeding schedule (11am and 2pm), if you are late to our feeding area you may miss out so please arrive promptly.
  • Only food purchased at Churchfields may be consumed in our Cafe areas, you are more than welcome to bring a picnic but please use our grassed areas, please remove any litter and dispose of in our recycling bins leaving our farm safe for our animals.
  • If you are pregnant or think you may be, please do not enter the lamb areas as there is a high risk of miscarriage.
  • Finally, please do not arrive at the lamb feeding area without a booking, we are unable to admit additional children, adults or on the door availability.

Important stuff for grown-ups

Working together for a safe and relaxing visit to Churchfields

1. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a full paying adult at all times. Churchfields is a working farm with livestock in adjoining fields.
2. You must stay on the trail and dogs are welcome but must be on a lead at all times. Please scoop any poop.
3. The ground is uneven and there are cowpats. Brambles, stinging nettles, tree roots, fallen branches and twigs are encountered on the trail.
4. The fields have cattle water troughs and barbed wire fences. There is a stream and pond in the woods.
5. Events are completed at your own risk. Ensure you have the proper footwear and adequate clothing before starting out. Check the weather forecast. The trails may be unsuitable for wheel chairs and push chairs (all terrain pushchairs at your own risk).
6. Remember that you are responsible for the safety of yourself and others in your group while on the trail.
7. Don’t forget to respect the privacy and property of others. Follow the Government’s guidance on staying safe outside your home. We advise bringing your own hand sanitiser.
8. Do not allow your children to go ahead and separate from the group.
9. Before you begin, agree on an emergency rendezvous point should someone become separated from your group.
10. In the event of an accident while on the trail, do not attempt to move the casualty, please call the emergency services on 999, giving your location: Churchfields Farm, Salwarpe, Nr Droitwich, WR9 OAF.
11. Place your litter in a bin or take it home with you.
12. Have fun!
