– Frequently Asked Questions –
What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes:
- Entry to the Pumpkin Patch
- Access to all of our autumn photo opportunities
- Access to the food marquee
- Access to our marshmallow toasting area
Please note that food, drinks and marshmallows are available to purchase separately and are not included in your ticket.

Does everyone need a ticket?
Yes. Everyone wishing to enter the Pumpkin Patch event will require a valid admission ticket, including adults, children and dogs.
Tickets are limited and we strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Do children need to be supervised?
Yes. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times throughout your visit.
As this is a working farm and outdoor event, we ask that children remain with their accompanying adult for their safety and the enjoyment of all our visitors.
Does my ticket include a pumpkin?
No. As every pumpkin grows differently, we don’t include a pumpkin within the ticket price.
Our pumpkins are individually priced based on their size, allowing you to choose the perfect one to take home.
How much do pumpkins cost?
Our pumpkins are individually priced depending on their size, shape and variety.
Prices start from £3, with larger pumpkins increasing in price depending on their size.
Whether you’re looking for a small pumpkin for little hands or a show-stopping giant pumpkin, there’ll be plenty to choose from.
As every pumpkin is unique, they’re individually priced rather than included within your admission ticket.
Can I buy pumpkins without an admission ticket?
No. Our pumpkins are only available to purchase from within the Pumpkin Patch event, so a valid admission ticket is required.
Why do your pumpkins cost more than supermarket pumpkins?
Our pumpkins are much more than just a pumpkin.
Every pumpkin in our patch has been planted by hand, nurtured and cared for here at Churchfields throughout one of the hottest summers we’ve experienced.
When you visit, you’re paying for the whole experience – exploring the pumpkin patch, creating memories, enjoying our autumn displays and supporting a local family farm. We work hard to make your visit one to remember.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome.
- Dogs do require their own ticket.
- Dogs must remain on a lead at all times.
- Owners must clean up after their dogs.
- Please be respectful of other visitors and our farm animals.
Is parking available?
Yes. Parking is completely free.
Our car park is located just a short walk from the Pumpkin Patch, making it easy to access the event.
Will food and drinks be available?
Yes. We’ll have a selection of hot food, sweet treats and drinks available to purchase throughout your visit.
To help support our farm and event, only food and drink purchased at Churchfields may be consumed on site.
Will it be muddy?
The Pumpkin Patch is set within a working field, so ground conditions can vary depending on the weather.
We strongly recommend wearing suitable footwear such as wellies or walking boots, particularly following wet weather.
A wheel and welly wash will be available for anyone needing to clean up before heading home.
Can we toast marshmallows?
Yes. Access to the marshmallow toasting area is included with your admission ticket.
Marshmallows are available to purchase separately.
Can we carve our pumpkins on site?
No.
Following customer feedback over recent years, we have made the decision not to offer pumpkin carving at the Pumpkin Patch.
Instead, we’d love you to take your perfect pumpkin home and enjoy carving it together with family and friends.
Will there be photo opportunities?
Yes. We’ve created plenty of autumn displays and seasonal backdrops throughout the Pumpkin Patch, perfect for capturing special memories.
Is the Pumpkin Patch suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs?
As this is a working field, ground conditions can vary depending on the weather. While we do our best to make the site as accessible as possible, uneven ground and muddy conditions may make access difficult after periods of rain.
If you have any accessibility questions before your visit, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
